Notes
This is one of a cache of mid 1960’s models which included colour trial models, donated to Barnardo’s Charity upon the death of a relative. The Barnardo’s charity shop is located just a few minutes from the old Corgi headquarters….
Finished in this most attractive and distinctive cyan blue and white, with beige chassis, this Pennyburn Trailer colour trial model is a truly remarkable find. Original Corgi stamped tyres are well-shaped. Tow hook. Rivetted base.
Several little marks to the paint finish.
Crisp bright and fresh card box looks so close to perfect! With Corgi Club Membership Form included.
With the Corgi 263 Marlin Rambler being purchased at the same time from the same source, we are led inevitably to the conclusion that these two may have been considered for inclusion in Corgi Gift Set 10 Marlin Rambler & Kayak Set?
