Issued during 1937.
The Singapore Flying Boat is in original condition, finished in silver with tinplate wings. Correct that this early model is correct without a roller on the underside. Issued 1937. With gliding hole and pin. Original stencilled RAF roundels on both wings. Complete with all four propellers.
The few that remain from this early period generally have substantial wear and due to the instability of the alloys used at the time, they are often found heavily-fatigued with chunks missing. Under close scrutiny, one can see very minor surface crazing ro one of the floats – nothing more.
The powder blue lift-off lid card box is bright and intact, showing minor wear only.
