Two pleasing examples of the early Dinky Streamlined Fire Engine:
1) Red cast wheels version with brass bell and red ladders. Steel baseplate with moulded detail.
2) As above but this version has a slightly later shiny tinplate base (moulded detail).
The deeply-coloured Dinky Trade Box is dual-numbered, so marking the change from the earlier 25H numbering to 250 (1954). Barely any wear. Shopkeeper’s period pencilled price. With replacement dividers.
