This particular model is at the back on the left-hand side.
This scarce Breakdown Lorry has a rich mid-tan cab and chassis, vivid green back, red cast wheels, white lettering. Shiny winding handle.
In original condition throughout with marking to the paint finish in one small area (on the front wheel arch visible in the reverse image).
Virtually complete – complete “DINKY SERVICE” lettering in white on both sides. Shiny baseplate (minor ‘spidering’). Original smooth tyres run well.
The striped DINKY TOYS box has bright, fresh colours on clean card. Dual-numbered at the short lid ends, so from 1954. Very light wear.
Nice to see this early model comes complete with the card packing piece and even the Dinky Factory Quality Control Label.
