A rare find indeed! This Ferrari Racer is a late issue with shaped spun wheels, although a transition model since it has the full yellow nose cone rather than the ‘shark nose’ that one would expect.
Lustrous finish with shiny wheels and fine original grey tyres. Obviously rarely handled, there is a small factory scratch almost covered by one of the tyres and a couple of tiny marks besides.
Close to pristine fresh red and yellow non-picture box is a fitting partner. Period price label on an end flap.
A wonderful display piece – and a variation missing from many Dinky collections.
