Matchbox Gift Set G-2 Car Transporter Set

Notes

A scarce Matchbox Series Gift Set G-2 comprises:

1) 14d Iso Grifo, in deep metallic blue, with light blue interior. Black wheels with shiny hubcaps. Very near mint.

2) 24c Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, in rich metallic red, with lemon-cream interior, black base, black wheels with shiny hubcaps and black base. Very near mint.

3) 31C Lincoln Continental in sea green, with black wheels/tyres. Very near mint.

4) 53C Ford Zodiac, in metallic green, with off-white interior, black plastic wheels/tyres. Virtually mint.

5) K8-2 Transporter in brilliant yellow, with complete delicate lettering on both sides. Tinted screens. Red plastic wheels. Very near mint.

All housed in a moulded plastic inner tray with compartments (minor wear and a couple of very small splits).

Colourfully illustrated card and cellophane box has vibrant colours and minimal surface marking, a little age /handling wear including a small repaired tear and a small seam split.
Very thin original cellophane window is notably intact. It has no doubt been protected by the card sleeve.
