A scarce Gift Set indeed to add to your collection. This Supertoys set was issued between 1956-58. It contains:
Dinky 982 Pullmore Car Transporter. Deeper blue Bedford cab, paler blue trailer with virtually complete – complete “DINKY TOYS DELIVERY SERVICE” logos at sides and rear ramp.
The model is generally in near mint condition with some light paint chipping in places due to model contact.
Dinky 154 Hillman Minx in pale green and cream. Near mint condition. with a few tiny chips and closest scrutiny finds a couple of very small touch-ins.
Dinky 156 Rover 75 in blue and cream. Very near mint.
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset in red and yellow. Near mint with a couple of chips caused by model contact. Nice vivid lustre.
Dinky 162 Ford Zephyr in green and white. Near mint plus with the usual light body line rubs at the sides.
Dinky 794 Loading Ramp for Pullmore Transporter in its own yellow sleeve box. Very near mint.
Box inner is both decorative and functional and adds to the appeals of this set.
Outer box is complete, bright and clean – hard to find this good! Dinky stamp 1956 on the inside of the lid. Excellent colour picture on the lid. Tiny wear only.
