Notes
Clean, crisp and fresh promotional card stand for Corgi Trans-O-Lite models. Version with ‘Boy oh boy!’ in the top band. Measures 28cms x 7cms approx. From 1963. Very close to mint condition. Original period price of 5/6.
The Trans-O-Lite features meant that no batteries or bulbs were needed to light up the headlights. They would light up when light is shone through the clear plastic roof details in this case. Turn the lights off by placing a finger over this ‘light channel’ or indeed move your finger on and off it to flash the lights.
This point of sale promotional card stand includes Corgi 465 Commer Pick-Up Truck in deep yellow and red with black bench in place. Shaped spun wheels. Of course, the Trans-O-Lite functions too!
In all original condition with marking to the paint finish.
