Notes
At QDT, we were thrilled to receive an email one day from the son of Nigel Loveland, the Sales Director for Corgi.
His name is highly significant because many exceptionally rare, pristine, and “factory fresh” Corgi models originally originated from his personal collection or direct factory stock.
This is a superb and so-scarce Corgi model!
This version has a pale lemon lower half with a light blue upper, flat spun wheels and a one-piece windscreen. Such an attractive example with a pleasing sheen to the original finish.
Shiny base generally (couple of small tarnished spots) and fine original tyres.
Occasional negligible dot to the paint finish and a small mark at the rear.
The early deep blue picture box is complete and crisp with strong colours. Light water staining mostly on the top surface. Rubs to an internal end flap. Tiny tear.
