Notes
At QDT, we were thrilled to receive an email one day from the son of Nigel Loveland, the Sales Director for Corgi.
His name is highly significant because many exceptionally rare, pristine, and “factory fresh” Corgi models originally originated from his personal collection or direct factory stock.
Issued between 1965-68, these Hydraulic Tower Wagons are still held beneath the shrink wrap.
The shrink wrap is always so flimsy and was never expected to last some 60 plus years. There is a tear which occurred during storage and some light staining (tea or coffee we think!).
However, since we cannot check, the examples in the shrink-wrap could be the rarer red examples as pictured on the box!
