At QDT, we were thrilled to receive an email one day from the son of Nigel Loveland, the Sales Director for Corgi.
His name is highly significant because many exceptionally rare, pristine, and “factory fresh” Corgi models originally originated from his personal collection or direct factory stock.
are still held beneath the shrink wrap.
Issued between 1971-74, this car has never been removed from the box – the end flaps have never been opened! So we assume the model is mint.
The model has a vivid yellow finish, smart black interior, jewelled rear lights, aerofoil and ‘RUNABOUT’ strip at the sides.
The box is extremely crisp and fresh looking wiht some as-made in the print ‘speckling’.
It may be necessary to carefully prise open one set of end flaps in order to ensure safe transit to the new owner.
