Notes
A classic Dinky model made between 1951-54, this model is the only one remaining in the shopkeeper’s trade box of six.
This van has a glossy vibrant red finish with maroon hubs, bright early baseplate with small lettering and complete ‘ESSO’ transfers on both sides.
Upon close inspection, one may see a rub or two at the raised body line detail at the rear (minor),otherwise mint and obviously unused.
The sturdy trade box is generally clean and has no splits or graffiti. Rust staining at staples and the dividers are no longer present.
A litle piece of Dinky history – this old shop stock item displays well.
