Notes

An all-original scarce issue made during 1956-57, this particular example can be precisely dated March 1956 due to the Dinky stamp inside the box lid. What a fine all original example in this scarce colour finish! This truck has the distinctive light blue cab and chassis,(more usual finish is violet blue), vivid cherry red back, light blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate. Barely any marks at all: just one little blemish at the side of the radiator and the tiniest negligible rub at one front wheel arch edge. Not an easy find in this condition!

Paint finish is vibrant and glowing. Complete with spare wheel. Bright baseplate.
The yellow picture box is bright, clean and complete with no splits or graffiti.

A little shelf rubbing to the box base. This model was originally exported to USA since originally it had an exporters ‘Hudson Dobson’ label on the base (now removed).
