Notes
A fine and original example of this early version made between 1953-54 (later renumbered 981). It is cast in aluminium and has a very lustrous deep maroon paint finish, which is very close to perfect. Occasional little mark/rub at some raised body lines/exposed edges. Complete lettering at both sides and above the cab. A lovely and obviously unused example, one of the nicest we have seen in a long while. Looks day-one bright!

It comes in the correct early deep blue box with clean and bright paper labels.

A little edge nibbling in places. No graffiti and the staples are shiny. Box base is a deeper shade of blue than the lid.
