Notes
1st type issue, made between 1948-52. Original vivid violet blue and light blue, with a light blue flash, fine tread radial tyres. Shining bright, this is an attractive early Foden Tanker:
There are a couple of notable chips just above the tow hook and a rather uneven casting on one edge of the cab roof. Usual little chips at some of the wheel arches, one at the front bumper and a couple of small marks cab head-on, one on the cab door. Few very minor marks besides. No dents to the tinplate tanker. Small area of discolouration at the rear of the tanker. Bright axles and metal parts generally.
Presented in a very, very nice more unusual dark green box with a paper label. Vivid clean colours. Rusty staples. Minimal wear.
