Notes
A very sought-after export issue in all-white; usual version is in metallic blue. This version was issued just for one year only – 1966, and so is hard to find, particularly in this condition. The model is original, having just come out of storage after many years. The car is so close to mint – after careful scrutiny, we can see a small factory touch-in to the paint finish on driver’s side wing, and a couple of really minute marks besides. The chrome is bright. The bonnet label has a small area of discolouration, as is quite usual with this issue.
It comes complete with the original Waverley ring, and two card packing rings (so often missing). The inner card stand is bright with very bright strong colours. Very minor wear only. The outer box is extremely crisp and fresh, with only the most minor wear only.
The export version has seen some strong price rises in recent months and we have every reason to believe that it will continue to rise.
