Notes

The first Supertoys model made – and this example is in spectacular, fresh condition, issued between 1947-49. A rare piece to come to the market place. One of the best examples we have seen of this substantial aeroplane which has a gleaming bright, all original finish, complete with all four propellors and both delicate floats intact.

As fine an example as you will find, particularly bearing in mind both its age and scarcity. Upon close examination, one may see the occasional minor mark or rub – we have not seen better!
An impressive item on display, especially alongside the card box which has such a bright paper label (small corner nick). Minor wear to the paper label. Shopkeeper’s penned price. No splits. Complete and clean label at box lid side.

Dinky stamp alongside the label. The box comes complete with its packing piece which has definitely protected the delicate parts of this craft for the past sixty or so years.

A wonderful addition to any Dinky collection – and one of the best surviving examples we are sure.
