Notes
Issued between 1960-64, this Albion model has a pale yellow finish with a detachable grey skip. So difficult to find in perfect condition, largely due to the design of the model with moving metal parts. This example has a shiny paint finish and presents well, although it does have a casting irregularity on the cab roof edge and a bend to one of the raised edges at the rear. Few little marks besides, including a few subtle retouches.
Couple of period labels ((number plates and 20mph sign) have been added, although could be removed if desired.
The striped Supertoy box is bright and clean with scarcely any handling wear at all. A date has been added at one side of the lid in pen. Shopkeeper’s lightly pencilled price at one box lid end. Packing piece is included too.
