Notes
This Leyland Cement Wagon has a beautiful, virtually unmarked, original paint finish.
The circular detailed “Blue Circle Portland Cement” transfers are complete on both cab doors, as is the lettering on both sides. The lettering at the rear has a couple of little light scratches (probably caused by the box staples).
Lovely glowing original colour finish make this an outstanding display piece. Tiny edge mark to the flat bed and a couple of faint marks on the bed.
Very bright and clean baseplate with spare wheel in place. Shiny axles, including the ends.
The striped card picture box is complete, clean and bright. Shiny staples! Minor edge wear and a pen mark on the lid. Nice to see that this unused example still has its little packing card piece which fits behind the cab.
Dated 1955 (Dinky stamp on the inside of the lid).
Obviously, this truck has been well looked-after. No sunfading or grubbiness, with day-one bright vivid colours!
