Notes
Such a bright and fresh Dinky Guy Van! Issued between 1954-56 and scarce in such fine condition, this is the more unusual dual-numbered transitional issue when the model changed from 514 to 917. Perfect eye-catching transfers on both sides with the letters forming the shape of a dog.
A wonderful display piece, made during Dinky’s heyday:

Several little dots away from mint. Beautiful lustre to the original paint finish.
The box too is extremely fresh and bright with no splits or repairs. A little pencilled scribble at one end of the lid and a little of the usual shelf rubbing on the box underside.

Delightful, old shop stock quality!
