C477
Corgi 477 Land-Rover Breakdown Truck. Very near mint/boxed. Cast wheels. Early card box issue. From the Heart of England Collection.
Notes
More commonly found in the later cellophane-fronted box, this version with cast wheels is presented in the colourfully illustrated card box. Looks barely handled with a wonderful lustre to the vibrant red finish, bright chrome roof spotlight and day-one fresh Corgi dog logo ‘Breakdown Service’ labels on both sides. Suspension on gleaming shaped spun wheels.
If you are looking to fault it, you will note the little rubs to the silver bumper edges and the little chip at a rear edge. Roof is notably unrubbed!
The pictorial card box is bright and fresh with a crisp feel. Couple of small tears. Very minor wear besides. Shopkeeper’s price at an end flap.
