FD24Y
French Dinky 24Y Studebaker Commander. Near mint/boxed. 1st issue in two-tone green. Scarce.
Notes
This is the first issue example of this impressive French Dinky model made between 1955-57. Finished in a delicate pale green with a dark green roof and nice all original silver trim. Plated convex hubs are shiny, the original smooth-running white tyres are bright and clean.
Bright baseplate and since this is the first issue, without the towing eye. A gleaming paint finish throughout. Few little marks at bumpers, several little pinprick-sized dots on the roof. Few tiny marks besides.
The pictorial box is bright with no tears at end flaps. Rubbing mostly at one box edge and a small area of surface removal has been covered with a small yellow label.
