D966
Dinky 966 Marrel Multi-Bucket Unit. Near mint plus/boxed. From a large private European lifetime collection.
Notes
This is a fine unused example that has spent most of its 50 years or so tucked away in its box. Issued between 1960-64, this Albion model has a pale yellow finish with a detachable grey skip. One of the nicest examples we have seen in a while – so difficult to find in perfect condition, largely due to the design of the model with moving metal parts. A few scattered little marks on this example which has fared better than many:
Paint miss may be seen one one side tucked away above the tool box.
Bright baseplate.
The striped Supertoy box is very fresh and bright with barely any wear at all!
