D512
Dinky 512 Guy Flat Truck. Very near mint/boxed. Rarest version in dark brown and green. A premium item from a Dinky collector in Tyne & Weir, England.
Notes
Such a scarce 1st type issue (1947-48) in this colour, with its rear axle located in tin clips, and no triangular lugs at side of the number plate. This Guy Flat Truck has a lustrous rich-brown cab and chassis, mid-green back and wheels. Small hook. Bolt fixing, axles and baseplate are shiny and rust-free. Bright silver radiator and lights. Paint finish is vibrant and glowing. Complete with spare wheel. So close to mint!
This unused truck lives up to close examination with no touch-ins. One thin little graze at a wheel arch and a couple of tiny dots besides. Exceptional!
The correct early buff box feels sturdy and looks very fresh and bright. Lovely and complete, vibrant paper labels. No splits or graffiti. Rusty staples.
One of the best you will ever see!
