Notes

Issued in limited numbers, this version in violet blue and deep yellow with light blue wheels is a scarce item and a rare find in this condition. All original and authentic throughout with a pleasing lustre to the paint finish. A few barely visible marks at wheel arches and a small edge rub/mark to both tailboard top edges and at one edge of the tailboard. Slight rough casting to the roof (several tiny raised specks).
Released in limited numbers, this classic Dinky truck is a very difficult find, especially in such fine condition. Outstanding display piece with a glowing lustre:

Excellent original black tyres including the spare still affixed to the bright baseplate.
The fresh and bright striped Supertoys box is clean and complete with no graffiti or splits. Correct colour spot at the box lid end. Minimal wear only. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this example from March 1956. Shopkeeper’s faintly pencilled price of 7/9 at one end.
