D158
Dinky 158 Riley Saloon. Cream with green wheels version. Very, very near mint/boxed. Scarce 1954 issue with 40A baseplate. From the 1200 model Italian collection. Looks like old shop stock.
Notes
Issued during 1954 with this numbering, this example has a very fine cream paint finish with bright original silver detailing at the radiator and lights, green wheels. Delightful, unused example:
Couple of negligible dots if you want to fault it (most would call it mint). Bright baseplate has a tow hook aperture and large print wth 40A.
Looks like old shop stock.
The box is bright, clean and complete with all end flaps intact. Correct colour spot. Very crisp fresh feel. End crease. Tiny wear only. Shopkeeper’s pencilled pricing at an end flap.
