D441
Dinky 441 'CASTROL' Tanker. Very near mint/boxed (dual-numbered). Issued during 1954. From a prime specialist Dinky collection in the North of England.
Notes
Distinctive mid-green finish on this all original Studebaker Tanker. Bright and complete CASTROL lettering on both sides (very small nick to the white background at one side).
Fine silver trim, including the roof details (usually the first to get rubbed by the box). Not an easy find in this condition.
The dual-numbered box is complete, clean and brightly-coloured. Couple of very small tears to one end flap seam.
Issued during 1954, this box marks the transition from the older numbering (30PA) to 441. A litttle shelf grubbiness besides.
