D170
Dinky 170 Ford Sedan. Red and cream low line. Scarce. Very near mint/boxed. From the 1200 model Italian collection we are handling.
Notes
An unusual Dinky model issued between 1958-59, so a little later than the high line versions.
This classic Dinky car has a striking all original red and cream finish and looks as if it has spent virtually all of its days tucked away in the box. None of the expected marks at the bonnet detail or at the bumpers – this example presents very well indeed. Lovely day-one lustre:
You will find the occasional little mark/rub at a raised body line. Small casting mark below the rear window.
The box is clean, brightly-coloured and complete. Resistant end flaps show that this box has been opened a couple of times ever. Correct colour spot. Small storage scuff on the top surface as well as a crease. Very minor age wear besides.
