D105
Dinky 105 Triumph TR2 Sports. Touring finish. Scarce grey issue with spun wheels. Very, very near mint/boxed. In late issue box (wear). From the Italian collection.
Notes
First issued in 1957, this sports model has a virtually perfect paint finish! Always a sought-after variation with shining shaped spun wheels.
Upon close inspection, there is just the near-obligatory rub to the driver’s head. Note there are 3 dots of stray factory silver on the bonnet (not chips!).
This late issue model is presented in either the red and yellow non-picture box or this paler yellow late picture box. This example is complete, although there is some wear and tear at end flaps (and a couple of end flap repairs). Glue residue where the colour spot would have been and a small area of surface removal near this site too. Grubbiness and penned numbering at an end flap.
Still a nice example of this desirable classic Dinky sports car!
