D108
Dinky 108 MG Midget Sports. Red version. Very near mint/boxed. *Rare plain box with correct colour spot*. From the Italian collection!
Notes
Issued between 1955-59, this sought-after Dinky car has a gleaming bright red finish with a tan interior, and racing number 24:
Obviously very carefully handled and stored, this model has complete racing numbers and an intact original screen. Indeed, this model looks unused and does not even have the usual mark to the driver’s head! Closest scrutiny reveals a couple of extra dots of red paint at a couple of the tiniest nicks on the spare wheel cover at the rear. Baseplate has an initial scratched.
The scarce plain box is complete and intact with the correct colour spot at end flaps. A little grubby and rubbed at edges, but no tears.
A desirable Dinky classic which displays beautifully.
