FD24D
French Dinky 24D Plymouth Belvedere. Rarest colour finish. Near mint/boxed. Exceptionally scarce model from the Italian collection!
Notes
Only the second we have ever handled. Certain to raise the pulse rate…we are delighted to offer for sale one of the most sought after French Dinky models!
Issued between 1957-59, this model was produced in four different colour finishes.
This model has the rarest mid-blue and white finish with silver raised detailing on both sides, chrome convex hubs. As is so typical of these early French Dinky models, the casting is not of the finest quality.
Hard to find a mark, but there is minor discolouration to one front wing, probably caused by prolonged box contact.
Stroke of additional well-matched cream paint to the top edge of one rear fin.
The picture box is complete if rather rubbed and worn in places. Tiny start of a tear at an end flap seam. No graffiti.
