C1126
Corgi 1126 Ecurie Ecosse Racing Car Transporter. Near mint plus/boxed. Later version with RAISED BLUE LETTERING. With card packing & leaflet! From the Italian collection.
Notes
This is the third issue finished in vivid metallic blue with raised light blue “ECURIE ECOSSE” lettering & raised body line details on both sides. Shaped spun wheels. Yellow interior. Grey base. Charming display piece, especially with a selection of Corgi racing cars from the same era – this transporter would hold three.
Difficult to find mint, since they were popular at the time – a firm favourite for ‘transporting’ Corgi cars around!
Occasional little mark to the paint finish (i.e. mostly where metal meets metal , so hard to avoid). Few Corgi accessory labels available at the time have been added (tax disc, GB sticker) which may be easily removed if wished.
The colourful pictorial box is complete and vividly-coloured. Minr age grubbiness & light wear. No splits or graffiti. Notably, this model comes complete with its internal packing, including the card piece which is positioned at the rear of the model. Corgi Club Membership Slip is included as well as the so-often discarded leaflet!
Note the additional box label ’GENUINE TRACK ROD STEERING, too.
Small area of surface removal at one lid end.
