C309
Corgi 309 Aston Martin Competition Model. Near mint plus/boxed. Racing number 1. Scarce.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi car and one of the key items in the Corgi Gift Set 15 Silverstone Set. This example is in all original condition with a shining turquoise and white finish, lemon interior, notably complete crossed flags on the bonnet, suspension on shining shaped spun hubs, jewelled headlights, racing number 1_.
Issued between 1962-65.
In fine, barely handled condition, with just a little nick to one of the door labels. Little casting mark to the back of the roof. Note the extra (factory) dab of silver paint above a headlight.
None of the usual marks on the roof or chipping at exposed edges, including the bumpers. Very nice!
The box is bright and complete with all end flaps ( tears to a small end flap seam). Shopkeeper’s penned price at an end flap and pen marking at both large end flaps.
