D448
Dinky 448 Chevrolet Pick Up & Trailers. Near mint-very near mint/boxed (early box). With packing. Scarce set from the Italian collection.
Notes
It has been ages since we have had one of these sets for sale! Made by Dinky between 1963-68 and contains:
Chevrolet El Camino in a fresh two tone cream and turquoise finish. Red interior. Shiny shaped spun wheels with suspension. Bright baseplate. In near mint condition with a couple of bumper chips. Few little dots besides.
2 x Trailers in red plastic with silver diecast bases, and integral tow bars. Very near mint. Opening rear door on the closed trailer as well as complete “ACME TRAILER HIRE” transfers on both sides (one side is perfect and complete, the other has a small slit but no piece missing).
The early lift-off lid pictorial card box is colourfully illustrated with the two pieces of original card packing inside the box. Minor wear only and one short end of the lid has a little sunfading.
An unusual Dinky set.
