Notes
We are especially delighted to offer for sale an original and authentic Prototype model from the Dinky factory. This model never went into full production and this is one of the few surviving prototype examples, sold to the owner at auction. This was one of several items rescued by the manager of Meccano Limited.
Two small marks away from mint and a light scratch just below the rear screen. Model measures approx. 13 cms. in length.
An exceptional and extremely interesting Prototype finished in Peacock Blue with gold midline stripe, black seating and John Steed at the wheel (complete with bowler hat!).
Complete with Provenance:
Will also be supplied with the auction catalogue and a signed letter from the current owner with his receipt of his auction payment, too.
