FD24Y
French Dinky 24Y Studebaker Commander. Very near mint/boxed. 1st issue in two-tone green. Scarce. From the Italian collection.
Notes
A very fine first issue example of this impressive French Dinky model made between 1955-57. A delicate pale green with a dark green roof and nice all original silver trim. Plated convex hubs are shiny (few speckles on a couple). The original smooth-running white tyres are bright and clean. Bright baseplate and since this is the first issue, without the towing eye. A gleaming paint finish throughout. Couple of raised casting dots on the roof, otherwise hard to fault!
Superb!
The pictorial box is bright, clean and crisp with no graffiti. Minor start of a tear at a seam edge.
A pleasing example throughout.
