D173
Dinky 173 Nash Rambler. Very near mint/boxed. Turquoise and red issue. Scarce plain box with correct colour spot! From the Italian collection.
Notes
Issued between 1958-62, this early issue model has an eye-catching turquoise and red paint finish, grey hubs, original white treaded tyres with ‘M’ (for Meccano) stamped.
In original condition, this car has just a couple of small casting marks (one on the bonnet, and another (very faint) on the roof).
None of the usual rubbing at raised body lines or chipping at bumpers:
Bright base and axles. A couple of the tyres have yellowed slightly (with age) now.
The clean, bright, red and yellow, non-picture box is very fresh indeed with wonderfully vivid colours. Tiny age wear only. Pencilled price at an end flap. Correct blue colour spot.
