C227
Corgi 227 Morris Mini-Cooper Competition Model. Near mint plus/boxed. Slim racing numbers. From The Berkshire Collection.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi rally model in bright light blue finish with a white roof and bonnet, notably intact crossed flags on the bonnet.
Displays beautifully with a crisp finish, an outstanding lustre and thankfully no edge chips to the white roof!
Shaped spun wheels have suspension, racing number 7 on both doors (more unusual ‘slim’ racing numbers – most often bold i.e. thicker print), jewelled headlights. Tiny top edge nick to one racing number. Few very minor edge marks (most likely from box contact), and a little casting blemish at the rear.
The box is complete, clean and crisp. Very minor age wear only. Comes complete with the Swansea Corgi Club Membership Form.
In all original condition, this is a delightful Mini issued between 1962-65.
