C202
Corgi 202 Morris Cowley Saloon. Mint/boxed (slight wear). Vibrant mid blue issue, with colour promotional booklet. From a very fine private Cheshire collection.
Notes
What an outstanding display piece! This early Corgi car has a day-one bright and lustrous original paint finish in eye-catching bright blue, with shiny flat spun wheels. Looks like old shop stock, with none of the usual rubbing at body lines:
Bright tinplate baseplate is untarnished too.
With a pristine paint finish, this model is so obviously barely handled. None better.
The early blue picture box is complete with all end flaps intact. Vivid colours on crisp, clean card. Small area of surface loss at an end flap.
This example comes complete with the colour promotional booklet included with early issues. Very bright and fresh.
