D431
Dinky 431 Guy Warrior 4 Ton Lorry. Very, very near mint/boxed (wear but complete). With window glazing. Scarce. From The Buckinghamshire Collection.
Notes
Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toyshops for old, unsold shop stock.
Issued between 1958-60, this is a highly displayable and attractive example with a light tan cab and chassis, dark green back, paler green hubs. So fresh and bright with day-one original colours throughout.
Just a couple of negligible marks if you really want to fault it. Tyres look as-new! A delightful find in this condition.
The bright yellow pictorial box is complete , although, as is often the case with this issue, it is rather worn now with some rubbing at edges, two end flaps have been re-attached, and another has a tape re-inforcement. Puncture in the top surface and one side, but no card loss. Penned period pricing at an end flap.
