D183
Dinky 183 Morris Mini-Minor (Automatic). Mint/boxed (tape repair). Gloss black roof issue. Rare with leaflet in early full colour picture box. From The Buckinghamshire Collection
Notes
Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toyshops for old, unsold shop stock.
A beautiful example in factory-fresh condition with a bright red finish, black gloss roof and off-white interior. Jewelled headlights and shining, shaped spun wheels. ‘D’ Registration plates front and rear. Stray do to of factory silver below a headlight.
The early issue full colour pictorial card box is clean and bright, although one end flap has been taped shut since it lacks the little tuck-in flap and another has a tape repair. Minor wear besides. It comes complete with the often missing ‘Automatic Transmission’ leaflet which has an interesting relevant article from the Daily Telegraph on the reverse.
Not an easy find!
